What You Will Do
You will lead technical staff with varying levels of training and experience to improve the
performance of a technical design team. Personnel responsibilities include training, coaching, and
supervising staff to achieve project goals and professional staff growth.
You will oversee various hardware and software development projects, processes, budgets, and
schedules, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion. You will develop and
implement methods and procedures to support these.
You will monitor department progress against company goals, determine steps for improvement and
execute on any determined action plans. From time to time you may be called upon to make
customer site visits in support of the sales team, domestic and internationally.
Qualifications
Required
● Bachelor’s degree in engineering
● Minimum of 3 years in engineering management
● Organizational competencies and project management skills
● Strong communication skills
● 5+ years in a related, front line engineering discipline
● A valid passport and the ability to meet international travel requirements
Preferred
● Master’s degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent experience
● Expertise in one of the following technical areas:
● Control theory
● Signal processing
● Radio frequency design
● Electronic hardware or software development
● Experience in creating and improving engineering design and development
processes
● Experience in hiring engineering talent
● Engineering budget controls
What You Can Expect
Once you apply we will review your documents within 1-week and will either contact you to set up a
phone call or online meeting. After a successful screening, there will be an on-site interview with the
CEO and the current engineering manager. If that goes well, the next step will be to interview with the
engineering staff.
